reading comprehension

"Have at least one color other than black and/or white"
means minimum two colours (i.e red and black, for example), or only one which is not black/white?

Re: reading comprehension

this means you can either do black and white + a color, or shades of a color. really it's pretty open so long as there is some color.

Hmmm, no digital (which is TOTALLY okay of course!!)... hmmmmm. I plan to do some hybrid stenciling/screenprint kind of experiments soon. If they work out, I'll sign up for s'more of your projects, like this one. :)

The basic idea is, you make a stencil and then use a screenprinting screen to hold it down, and either stipple the paint in or squeegee it like a screenprint.

Of course, I might digitally create the image for my screen/stencil, but that's pretty far removed from the inkjet printer, so I doubt that'd be an issue!

i hate to tell you this dahlink, but that is a screenprint if you use a screen. tee hee. i have done them with stencils under my screen before =>. you can create your matrix in any way you wish so long as you use some method of printmaking in the process ;). i am very open about that! my 'printmaking' technique is hand carving some erasers and rubber =>

you can also make stencils by getting contact paper and cutting a stencil in it before you peel it. then peel it and slap it onto your screen. yeah baby, yeah!

Why do you "hate" to tell me that? Is this a bad thing? I expected it would fall into the screenprinting arena, and obviously it does. :D

As for silently willing me to sign up... okaaaay, I'll sign up! Count me in. But I really can't work on it right away. I have GOT to get my sleep fixed up. Surely I can do that and make some prints before January though. Maybe I'll expand the edition by one and give it to Andy. ^_^

... er. Shouldn't that say January 2006, not 2005?

P.S.: Every time I see that "Art" icon of yours, my brain substitutes a box of "Tide" detergent. Admit it! You're manipulating me subliminally!

hahahaha yes it should say 2006. i have that problem sometimes.

... tide? rofl!

yes, secretly they give me kickbacks!

i don't really hate to tell you that. you would have to hear me say it for it not to confuse, i think. a lot of my humor is audio humor!

alas... you know i should figure out how to do a voice post...
